History
Yates Properties is currently owned in its entirety and
managed by Gregory M Yates. He has approximately
30 years of experience in real estate management and real
estate development as a principal in Deer Ridge Development,
Westwood Commons and Cedar Lee Condominium LLC’s.
Mr. Yates holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from
the University of Richmond. He obtained his real estate
brokerage license in 1987 and has served on the Planning
Commission and Board of Supervisors of Culpeper County,
Virginia. Mr. Yates is currently Chairman of the Board of
Directors of the State Theater Foundation,
a non-profit organization created for the renovation and restoration of the
State Theater in Culpeper, Virginia, a 1938 art deco vaude-
ville theather.
